Camphene is a minor terpene that can be found in turpentine, valerian, ginger oil and camphor oil. It has a musty doug fir and earth scent that sometimes gets mistaken for myrcene which is usually found in higher concentrations. When CBGA was applied directly to colon cancer cells not only did it destroy the cancer cells, but it also stopped the proliferation of new cancer cells. More research is certainly needed, but these preliminary results are extremely encouraging.
